Having said that, I'm not 100% sure of the assumptions or scenario you paint. Might it depend on how the public option is structured, whether it is required to be self-sustaining, take all-comers, act as a last resort only, etc.?
But thank you for giving us serious food for thought and not just more name calling and Obama bashing.
