The CEO's of Aetna, BC, United all stated that they make profit by limiting, denying, and non-renewing coverage. They have no intention to change.
My question is this- why can't we use the model set forth by Kerry or Hillary? Open the floor to the private companies. If company with 20 employees pay $1500 a month (as I do), a company with 2000 pays less then half of that. What about 20,000 or 20M?
Yes, make it mandatory, subsidize if it is over say 25% of gross income. Open up bidding to all the private companies. Offer 3 plans from complete comprehensive to catastrophic only?
