But it does not matter. It's government control. It's brainwashing that it is a "right" to have healthcare. Nowhere in the Constitution does it say healthcare is a right. Is healthcare out of control? Yes. That's why it's incumbent upon the companies to band together and figure out a cost effective delivery system. Hey, but maybe the current CEO's have made a tidy profit so there is no longer an incentive to repel government from taking over their business. I'm sure the auto industry never thought government would takeover their private sector businesses.
Bottom line is, the United States of America cannot afford to takeover healthcare at this time, heck the government cannot afford anything right now, but Obama is still spending money we don't have. Where is the money going to come from? Tax the rich, well you can only bleed them so much before the well runs dry. Tax the middle class? Absolutely, since you must widen your tax base. With Healthcare, Cap and Trade and the trillions paid out in bailout money the government will have to widen the tax base and millionaire tax will be down to those earning $50,000 per year. But hey, we got health care and the same den of theives in Washington DC who oversaw the Sub-Prime Mortgage Market, well they are going to decide on the delivery of our healthcare. It just makes you warm and fuzzy all over!
