Gill, great points and very good questions. Having seen the beginnings of this current administration, demonizing Wall Street and CEO's, I would venture to say that Obama, Pelosi, Reid and co-horts really haven't thought about the consequences of the common employee. They have demonized the CEO's as being greedy. So if they Socialize healthcare and those "Evil" executives salaries are destroyed, they've done their job. As for the employee's, they then have the opportunity to become "Government Employees" which satisfies the Marxist agenda. Government cost is not a factor, making the employees and doctors wards of the state makes everyone "equal". Rationing care takes care of the "old" people, as they die off so does America's social security and medicare liability. It's a bit cynical of a view, but there is no rational reason for government to takeover the healthcare industy, if Free Enterprise and Capitalism was our Republic's foundation.
However, the mentality of a Community Organizer is, organizing more of the private sector Free Enterprise system into the government fold.
