Who is debunking health care reform? I debunked single payor but not health care reform. Competition? There are 1300 health insurance providers already. Are 1301 going to bring down the cost of health care? What you fail to address is the COST OF CARE. Not the cost of insurance, which is the cost of care plus administrative costs. THE COST OF CARE.
You know, facilities, doctors, nurses, tests, procedures, therapy. Those are the costs that have risen and whether the government taxes us and pays for it, or we pay for it through private insurers, it doesnt change the cost. Adding more people will raise the cost even more. So if you want to have an honest conversation then answer my questions. What do you think lawmakers are trying to reconcile now? Its easy, and simplistic, to blame insurers. What do you call medicare if not an insurer.

Tell me Cato. What is the average profit margin of the 1300 health insurance companies. Minus 2 %? Even? Plus 2%?
I can't believe what I am reading either! Your post reveals how little you know about the topic.
