Comment:
An expansion of the Medicare System via a public option means an expansion of the UNDERPAYMENTS to physicians. Which = more cost shifting by doctors and hospitals to private paying patients. Which = higher private side medical inflation. Which = a completely public plan down the road. Which = rationing and fewer, lower quality physicians. Why would the best and the brightest go into medicine, spend 8 years in school and 4 years in residency to be paid the reimbursement rates allowed under medicare for ALL of their patients? THEY WOULDN'T! They DON'T in England, Canada, etc. SOMEBODY LOOK AT THE DOWNSTREAM EFFECTS before we get buffaloed again by these idiots!
