Everyone in the ABC event including those from The Industry and myself recognize that the current system is need of reform.
The current system is broken and with wages falling due to our Economy changing from a Manufacturing based system to a Service based system many people simply cannot afford paying the continuing rising costs of Health Insurance not to mention those unemployed and those with health problems that simply do not qualify at all.
At least someone is looking at trying to do something which is more than we have seen in the Bush years and that is sad to say because I believe that his was a good President and kept this Country safe but they did not address the healthcare issue.
If the Economic situation worsens and high paying jobs continue to go overseas then no amount of reform will be enough.
Without a Public Plan we will see gouging in the pricing of Insurance with no real correction in lowering costs.
I really hope that there will be enough compromise between both parties that something will come about to help those really in need.
Our President and his administration are to be commended for their efforts.
