I beg to differ Mike- the AIG bailout was exactly that- and you can thank Republican de-regulation for it too- Just like the S&L meltdown after they too were de-regulated- One can ONLY de-regulate when Industry will do the right thing- and History has shown that will never happen- after all- haven't the Airlines dramatically improved their service since they too were de-regulated ?
