Attn: this guy is not pro-business. HE'S ANTI-CONSUMER! Think about it, who benefits from punitive damage caps? The defendants! Who's a defendant? How bout Allstate after they denied paying claims to victims of Hurricane Katrina? Ask yourself, if you paid your premiums faithfully for years, disaster strikes, you ask Allstate to fulfill its obligation, they refuse and force you to sue. Then Huckabee has limited your damages for pain and suffering to 1 million dollars. Remember now, you've lost your house, you family pictures, and your memories. Then Allstate forces you to sue in order to collect. So after three years of torture, Huckabee has a say in how much your pain and suffering is worth. Now that's tort reform. If you think you're in favor of it, Ask yourself if you'd really stopped and examnined it!
