I had the same problem. We were given a temporary claim number and repeatedly told that someone would call us back within 72 hours. After calling for the 3rd time, I asked to speak to a supervisor. I fussed and then gave the phone to my husband. He explained to the supervisor that I was pregnant and we needed an advancement, etc. This supervisor then gave us a permanent claim number...so we were told! After hearing nothing back from them again, my husband called the insurance commissioner and explained that his wife was pregnant, we could not live in our home, etc. That day we FINALLY received a call from our insurance company. Althought it took 3 different adjusters calling us, we did get an adjuster assigned to us and the adjuster has been helpful thus far.
