Having briefly met the Commissioner in London last month, he gives the impression that he was a reluctant politician and his aim was to be fair and open to all. He expressed the desire to have an open commercial market that grew through professionalism and market forces instead of protectionist pork belly politics. Here is a Civil Servant who is both Civil and a Servant of his principals.
