I doubt if the IIAT is really representing the interests of it Agency Members in supporting this ill concieved Tax Bill. It will not reduce taxes but rather impose the largest tax ever on small incorporated businesses. It also does not include any appraisal caps so in a very few years, homeowners will be paying more than ever. They need to pass HB-1 to use the current surplus to fund the schools and go home. The next session should then get to work reducing government spending and capping appraisals to 3% annually. Most business owners have not actually read HB3 and are not aware of what an impact it will make on them. The Govenor is trying to ram this bill through fast before the people realize what has happened. It must be stopped now.
