Sorry but breeding for fighting IS MUCH worse than breeding for hunting. I'd much rather have a dog bred for retreiving birds than a dog bred for ripping out the jugular vein. Aggression level of a pit bull is much higher than most dogs because it is bred into them. Just as a border collie has an instinct for herding, the pit bull has an instinct for fighting. I had two pitbulls attack my horse and injure her badly. You know what the owners of these animals said? "But they are normaly so sweet, we just don't understand!" duh. One of these dogs was shot by a neighbor after it called their cat.Luckily it didn't kill one of the kids running around the neighborhood.
