Subject: Pit Bulls
I raise Pit Bulls and participate in athletic competition with my dogs. They are bred for Pulling Event's. They are also raised to be non-aggressive. I will not sell to an individual who has a desire to aggression train my dogs. Potential buyers undergo a background check before we sell them a dog. A Pit Bull is a very strong dog, and trained improperly can end up in the media as a viscious animal when trained improperly, just as any other breed of dogs could . It is not the breed that should be punished, but the irresponsible owners of the dogs that do attack. Lawmakers should pass laws punishing irresponsible owners who train these dogs to be aggressive and unpredictable. If there were no more Pit Bulls, Then what breed will the media pick on next, believe me someone will just pick another breed to replace the Pit Bull with. There are alot more Good Pit Bulls out there than the small percentage that people judge "all" Pit Bulls by. Punish The Deed, Not The Breed.
