Wow! What a savings this is: $47 million to "maintain" 9778 empty new trailers sitting at an airport. That's over $4800 per trailer. Pretty good maintenance, eh??
Meanwhile they will give them away because they couldn't think to change the federal regulations against placing such trailers on "flood plains." Try to explain that to the citizens of LA and MS who still remain homeless while trying to rebuild their damaged properties. Talk about rigid, mindless "problem solving"!
