Thanks for the ringing endorsement. You're right about the housing. It practically sucks! My sister in law was paying almost a grand a month for a two bed room home when it would have been half that before Katrina. Most of the workers are taking the available housing so it's a catch-22 - someone has to build so that residents can come back but you might as well stay where you are till the construction workers can live there to get your home ready. Thank goodness most of my relatives are housed already. The others are staying put elsewhere.

I'll be in NOLA for Thanksgiving. As a former resident I still spend like a tourist(GO TIGERS!) Can't wait!!!
