i am a river boat captain on the lower misissippi river. i thank DRD towing should be criminaly chaged in this case
beacouse these companys use stearsman
as pilots to keep the wages down form the
master piolts. also as a river boat capt.
we do not make 300,000 a year like the ship pilots do but we do go by the same rules i would like to know why the ship did not slow down or try to drop anchor
before hiting the tug remember he never talked to the tug on the radio the rules state (USE ANY AND ALL AVELABLE MEANS TO AVOID A COLLISION) ANY AND ALL!
