In defense of Garrett Insurance they claimed they had "bent over backward to provide the best service they could".
I do not know if the best service Garrett could provide should have resulted our family paying $1000 more than we needed to pay, but if that is their best they should know it.
Garrett Insurance of Kerrville, TX claims to have "taken full responsibility" for the fact we paid $1000 more in 2007 for home and auto insurance than we needed to spend.
My wife and I have four children, (two in college) and we are semi-retired. If Garrett took full responsibility for overcharging us $1000, they could return the money with a letter of apology. To this date, they have done neither.
Maybe their 4000 clients need to check their policies to see if they are also overpaying Garrett Insurance just like we did for 16 years.
