I wonder if the ceremony will acknowledge how the loud-mouthed,incompentent, idiot mayor Ray Nagin sat on his hands at the Hilton and failed to take action to protect the residents of the city? He's done more than his share of instilling a "victim mentality" in every indigent minority in the city. Then, they RE-ELECTED the idiot!!!! Same as what Detroit did with Coleman Young for 25 years and look how that ruined a major city. I wonder if they acknowledged the idiot governor who sat on her hands and allowed the idiot mayor to sit on his hands? This city in a "mud bowl" is a mistake and should be abandoned. It's foolhardy to think mud walls are going to protect a city below sea level. I for one am opposed to throwing good money after bad to keep rebuilding this cesspool.
