I'm trying hard to be patient but I feel as if my claim is lost in a time warp. I reported the claim in writing on Sept. 14th and the adjustor was out one week later. Since then, all I have received is two form letters and one returned phone call. The adjustor (who has responded to one of three emails) says he submitted the reports "some time ago" but my company says they have never received the documents. The claims company is sub-contracted by my insurance company and the adjustor is sub-contracted by the claims company. It seems as if none of them are talking to each other. I have no idea who has my claim, if it stands a chance of being covered or when I will hear any type of decision. In the meantime my house is torn up and the contractors are now saying it will be February before they can do the work (if I authorize it tomorrow.) I'm trying to be patient but its getting very difficult.
