Maybe if the majority of the CAT teams in Texas had competent people handling claims, law firms wouldn't need to be doing this. But I can tell you the Texas FAIR Plan and TWIA have been horrible, not to mention lots of private companies that are nickel and diming every single thing on a claim. It's been horrible for an agency standpoint. I don't write policies anymore, I'm the clean up crew now for incompetent claim departments for a lot of companies I have written policies through.
