Subject: waste?!
as far as a job, repair levees, true, it can't hurt, but we need to make sure that the repair can withstand damage to itself and help divert flow of water. it naturally can't completely give 100% protection. most folks think that the local gov't can. i think most folks really truly feel, they are safe, but when you build in a city that is already below sea level, what safety is that? truly as a business or a person, i would think twice about living there or creating a business. do i have enough funds set aside for a rebuild or relocation?
if it happened once, it definately can happen twice!
