You all who are asking questions of the company need to realize this is not St. Johns website. Second, if you want to know if they can pay their claims if a disaster hits go research POE insurance and see what happened to an outfit very similar but much larger than this company. They no longer exist! St. John's is a small regional carrier under-cutting other regional carriers with money received in re-insurance from the state of Florida that doesn't really exist until a disaster hits. A few investors come up with 20 mil. or so, State gives them 20-30 mil in re-insurance under genius Crist's socialized insurance program and bam, you have an insurance company. Does that sound like State Farm or even Tower Hill Insurance? Do some research. PS - Demotech rates even the worst companies A...want a quality ratings company go check out A.m. Best. St Johns, Olympus, Royal Palm, Security First, etc etc etc don't even qualify for a rating. They are all young, unproven, and more than likely wont exist in 10 years.
