We saw our Homeowner's jump from $600.00 to $1300.00 in two years. We saw our Wind coverage jump from $900.00 to now..a WOPPING $3500.00! Our Flood is still in the mid $500.00's but I'm sure that will go up soon too. Meanwhile, the deductibles have gone up too, so in the case we need to make a claim, we have to consider that cost as well.
It seems to me that they don't want to insure us down here in S. Florida or they leave us a very slim choice. My husand and I are considering self-insuring and to hell with these AL CAPONES.
WE CANNOT AFFORD INSURANCE AS IT IS NOW!
