I am amazed at every article I read, that states how much insurance companies spend on recovery. What they don't state is the profit those insurance companies make. I am sick and tired of paying 10% or more in my insurance bill, for people who CHOOSE to live on the coast and desire to take the risk that a hurricane will blow their home away. I choose NOT to live on the coast, because I have common sense. Why are we inlanders being punished for the decisions the richer, stupider people make? I am so sick of political "pocket change" scams put on us by our elected officials, who are supposed to be civil servants (yeah, right) and their buddies in the big corporate market, it makes me ill. I'm also sick of the ignorant citizens who believe what they say and keep voting the pathetic ***'s into office. No wonder suicide is so popular. For the people by the people? What a damn joke. Now, I find out I have to pay up to $500.00 for a survey, just to show Citizens that they are raping me in insurance costs (which they already know, but are counting on the majority of ignorant people not to challenge them). What a scam. Florida and it's politicians suck. Citizens of the US...guess what...NO politician gives a crap about you. Only their careers and their pockets. Who funds their careers? Big business and brown nosers. AND guess what..your taxes! Elect someone who is willing to work for no pay. Possible? YES! Try reading about the people you have running for office. Wake up and smell the stink. My grandparents blood are on your hands. Not that you give a damn. What a shameful country and State this has become. I'm not a Republican. I'm not a Democrat. I am a human being, living on GODS Earth. Bring forth a fireman, policeman or soldier, who do their jobs for spit of pay, knowing they may loose their life in an instant, and I'll vote for them. They fight for me now and protect me...I would trust voting them into office before any "career politician" anyday. Ask the politician you vote into office to require the same demands. Ask an X policeman, fireman or soldier running for office if they feel the same way now. One last thing. It's a question. How can a majority of a State vote for Governor, a man, who's concerned about our property taxes and insurance, who has never even owned a home? Laziness is the only excuse for ignorance. How the hell does he know what you're going through? He doesn't. He hasn't lived the life. Thanks for letting me vent my frustrations. I've got to get back to packing now. I'm moving out of here, because I'm not wealthy enough to stay. Will this be posted in the Insurance Journal? I highly doubt it! Peace.
