I'm little disturbed. As for Billy Ray Whitson I'm sorry I wasn't born with a silver spoon in my mouth. Furthermore, all the years I've had car insurance. I also paid for all the drunk drivers that get into accidents while driving under the influence and driving on suspended licenses, etc. Even with a safe drivers record I still have to pay high rates. However, getting back to mobile home insurance. I've never had a property claim in 14 years. I also got a non-renewal from West Point Underwriter. I find it funny the insurance companies never hesitated to take good premium money while they never had to pay out for my property. My insurance company sent me a 2-page questionnaire to fill out to see if they could find me another company. My insurance company sent back a letter stating there is one company writing policies in my county. Which, has to be paid in full. My county had very little damage from the all the hurricanes and storms in 2004. This new company wants $138.00 more this year. Almost $600.00 a year and that doesn't even cover what my home is worth. Also, doesn't include flood, having to sign a statement saying Any person who knowingly and with intent to injure, defraud, or deceive who files a statement of claim or an application containing any false, incomplete misleading information is guilty of a felony of the third degree. An animal liability exclusion. I acknowledge and except that the policy for which I am applying will not provide personal liability or medical payments coverage for liability from damages caused by any dog or other animal. This means that the neighbors dog or dogs (can't have more than 2,limited breed) get into my yard and happens to bite someone in my yard I have no coverage! There's a long list of exclusions. Besides the fact that if I happen to have to make a claim in 2005 they could say it's not covered for some reason from the long exclusion list. Then the next year they would cancel or raise my premium even higher. O Better watch out that they could put me in jail for a felony (3)! What I'm I paying for? Maybe I should take my chances along with everyone else and see where the insurance business ends up. I'm trying to find answers. Or maybe I should live on the beach
