Safeco was the first in 2004 to waive the 2nd , 3rd deductible, even before Frances came ashore. They had to Rank in the top 5 in Cat loss response, so no surprise about their announcement in this article. We had two direct hits last year, if we could just get them to capitalize on their claims service and let us sell a few Homeowners we would be happy campers. Everyone is calling trying to get Safeco because of their claims handling and we have to tell them we are in a moratorium for homes but they would love to have their auto.
