You are right, there are quite a few which are scams, but there are several which are realkly good & really help people with the cost of healthcare, especially when you are dealing w/an ins.policy that hardly covers anything, barely covers routine services, outrageous deductibles & enormous premiums, just to in the end deny the claim & you end up either paying the bill in full anyway or you ignore the bill, hoping it will pay itself. You are right these programs are not for everyone, but they can help anyone who may need them.
