Most 'rent' an insurance "network" from companies like Private Health Care System and others to make the claim. HOWEVER, when you attempt to use your "benefit" you find out that few, if any, will accept your membership card.
As a medical office, we don't participate in any - BUT to address this crisis, we are starting one of our own - with REAL DOCTORS, REAL SPECIALISTS, LABS,IMAGERY, MEDICATIONS in northern Mecklenburg and southern Cabarrus counties. Us independent physicians are fed up with the situation and want to serve our community, our small businesses, their employees, people with pre-existing conditions, and the self employed. We are giving them a Premiere Option.
So, readers - there is hope. Establish a relationship with a local, independent family, internist or pediatrician physician. They should be able to provide the care you need at an affordable price.
