Subject: RE: I'm sorry isn't this America??
Your article was especially timely as I went to renew my driver's license this morning and I was two large signs, one in English and the other in Mexican, regarding what is needed for renewing one's license. My only thought was that people who cannot read English most likely cannot read the signs and directions which surround them on the highway and thus they should not be driving in America in the first place.
Sorry for sounding like a jingo, but when you are in this country as a citizen or as a permanent resident it is time to learn how to speak English.
