I know that various denominations have been instrumental in the Gulf Coast diaster relief. My own congregration sends 150 men every weekend from once Katrina hit, until now, to help the victims. It doesn't matter what church they attend; we help everyone on the block who will accept our help. Many offered to pay us, they were politely refused and told to donate, if they wished, to their local charities. God loves all of His children, regardless of religious denomination, color, or creed. I know that thousands of people have sacrificed much to travel to the diaster sites to assist where ever they were needed. That, is what the love of Christ is. "If ye love me, feed my sheep".
