We have had an engineer declare our house at Diamondhead was destroyed by high winds/tornadoes. Our neighbor filmed the whole thing, risked his life, and has filmed evidence that the high winds came in several hours before the storm surge (which came up slowly and steadily and rose to voer 20 ft.). The winds tore up the houses on the Southside (where we were) and blew them into the air and debris was flying around like missiles. The water then came and washed it to the west, and then back to the east it went, after the eye passed. We also have a report coming from an expert in weather analysis, which declares the wind destroyed our homes. On top of all of this, our State farm adjuster did not even go out to our home to see it before they declared it water damage. We are also informed that he wasn't going to see our site because all of them looked the same (illegal, and malpractice). Even with all of this, plus more eyewitnesses, and reports, State Farm says they still won't pay because the water still came and did damage!!! (even tho the house was already nothing but splinters). I am glad that Mr. Lott is sueing SF. He has said that he hopes that it will open the door for the rest of us to get paid what we deserve and what we have been paying premiums for. Even tho he had flood insurance, that doesn't come close to paying for the value of his house, or ours for that matter. being rich does not make him a bad person...I am glad that he is doing what he can to help all of us while he helps himself! Let's everyone get our facts straight before we condemn, ok???
