I feel sorry for Davis and his unfortunate situation. However, looking at the picture as a whole, you must consider that over 40% of Floridians carry no health insurance. This is mostly due to the unaffordability of what is offered in our great "sunshine state". The insurance companies are pushing this as a way to save on costs, however as others have posted, this will pale in comparision to the steep price of BI. It truely scares me that this will sunset with no plan for resolve until it too snowballs out of control.
