First: Diana, do you have some second rate insurance carrier that you signed something that specifically does not cover out of state accidents because what your saying is just not true. I am a medical provider and have been reimbursed for medical treatment from patients getting in accidents all over the country. As for TPG, you must be an auto insurance adjuster or work for an insurance defense firm, because as usual, you are telling only one side of the story. As for lawyers making a killing off of PIP as it is right now. Which lawyers are you talking about. I have personally been involved in depositions with insurance companies (who won't pay their insured's bills or cut off their benefits, even though they have paid their insurance for 20 years and never made a claim.)tha were requested by the insurance company. These depositions are commonly represented by the insurance companies Attorney, Adjuster, Videographer and Stenographer. Most last hours (1-3) and are requested of at least two people(the medical practitioner and the person responsible for billing.) The same insurance companies ask the same questions every time and waste everyone's money, when all they have to do is update their prior depositions. But as you know, How much do the Attorney, Adjuster, Videographer and Stenographer cost for six hours at the insurance companies bequest over pennies? Thousands! And who do you think is going to bear the brunt of paying for all of this? The Insured persons! And who caused the problem over the pennies in the first place by denying the claim? The insurance companies! Oh, by the wau, Usually it is hundreds of dollars and not pennies. Also, some auto insurance companies engage in the practice of denying all claims. Some auto insurance companies teach their adjusters that every PIP claim is fraudulent, even when the patient has herniated discs requiring surgery to relieve nerve compression. Your right about making money. Everyone does but the insurance companies want more than every one else. Wake up and tell the truth. Auto insurance companies have been trying to get rid of PIP for years, and have lobbied hard to do so. For example, poster boy Marco Rubio works for insurance companies. They pay his bills. He has no business trying to do anything with PIP. It is a clear conflict of interest. If PIP dies, only the insurance companies win.
