Subject: RE: Mr. Martinez/thank you Mr. Insurance Adjuster
It was 2 AM when I started typing so my words resulted in a compliant about Insurance Company misteps here in Volusia County and it was a form of venting unfortunately Mr. Ratemaker had to read the mile long run on sentence.
I sure would appreciate your feed back on my first compliant. Why should State Farm (I have been a proud State Farm policy holder for over 40 years), but I simply did not believe State Farm would do this to me. They were using the State of Florida 80 % rule to total my son's Jeep that was hit by a State Farm policy holder in South Carolina. They said State of Florida laws allow "State Farm to Total the Vehicle"....not so quickly State Farm...I own the vehicle...I had the Jeep returned to Florida (cost $800 to transport) then I had it totally reconstructed...that was about 6 years ago...I still own the vehicle and it is within all known safety limits....nevertheless I will not stop running for political offices here in Florida until I get the law changed. I ended up paying off my son's car loan then rebuilding the vehicle...drove it to the State Farm office and they said....we told you it was totaled....after getting very demanding the finally agreed to pay the amount I invested to restore the Jeep. State Farm is a great company...so it must be the Florida law that needs to be rewritten. (Oh, the glass in the back window had a new value of $850....I used recycled parts and put it back on the road for a few thousand less than the 80% rule. This was unfair particularly when State Farm refused to confirm my belief that the party from Jacksonville who hit my son's Jeep within a construction zone (when an orange barrel rolled in front of the traffic ahead and slowed traffic resulting in the avoidable accident)....this is one of the many reasons I am attempting to Make Highway Safety the Issue...
Also my wife's aunt was killed when she was getting the mail by a 70 plus year old drunk in Englewood Florida....who ran away after killing her.
So to Mr. Ratemaker....you can delete this message if you decided to read my run on sentences again. :)
