Mississippi mediation is based loosly on the Florida model. The mediator attempts to get each side to compromise on the amount of damages. Mediation in Miss of Florida does not address coverage questions. The thrust of Mr. Scruggs lawsuits is coverage i.e. is storm surge flood? windstorm? or hurricane? and if it is how do you interpret the insurance contract?
