Your as far off base as it can get, There was nothing in that post that indicated hate for folks in million dollar homes, I DO live in a home valued at more than a million and NO ONE employs my assets, I am not jealous and I am not a liberal democrat by ANY means. In fact to show who is so dumb, do YOU know what it cost to insure a million $ home for wind in Naples? the answer is a lot less than it should. I own several homes and I pay less for a home
on the water than I do for a home off the water. I paid 4 assessments on policies to reimburse Citizens for deficits, and this is not fair. I have no problem paying my fair share for each property, but not being assessed to cover losses for someone else.
Ask any person in a million dollar house if they can afford to pay more and not many will say no, ask if they think they are paying their fair share and most will not comment.

I don't know who you think the evil one is, but I hope you remember to take your meds from now on. And for the record I have never have a tornado claim on a mobile home in 15 years, I am certainly not vouching for the sturdyness of these beer cans on wheels but people are spending BIG bucks on these things everyday. When the median house in Collier county is nearly $600,000 it is not a far stretch to see that $200k for a mobilehome is considered low cost housing in that area. and by the way some are built to florida building codes now, which means they are as strong as a regular site built home. The last thing I want is the government involved in insuring anyone, but if they are going to do it, they have to offer adequate coverage if it can not be obtained elsewhere, and they have to charge an adequate rate, or it becomes a welfare system that everone else pays into.
California currently has mobile homes selling for $1.8 million on leased land and they have wild fires, where do they get insurance?
I hope you get things worked out and the blood pressure under control...
