Roger, if you're going to use Allstate as an example of every carrier's behavior it's a bad one. Yes I agree Allstate has a terrible claims record. I once had an insured who was rear-ended by an Allstate ins'd and they reduced their settlement because our insured "stopped suddenly." Where is that in the law? Why do you think there's a website called www.allstatesucks.com? However, just like in ANY business, the acts of one or even a few bad apples do not make a bad industry. I could say that because one idiot posts a dumb response to an article that all responders are idiots, but that would be a false conclusion as the later posts to this article prove.
