I live west of I-95 and have never filed a claim in my 21 years with State Farm. I just received my new homeowners invoice for $6609, a 102% increase over last year! I got the typical BS from my agent but the fact remains that they made and are making record profits. I classify them to be just as greedy as the "oil companies." They get reinsurance from their own central company (talk about double dipping their profits) and then have the gall to say their reinsurance costs are up... At least Jessie James used a gun!
