Subject: Say what?
While I think I understand what he's trying to say here, he should phrase things much more carefully. How else should you treat it but as an opportunity to learn what went wrong and how to prevent it from happening again in the future. Those that don't learn from the past...well, you all know the saying.
"We rebuild in every other part of this world,'' he said. "The question is, can we rebuild our own?"
I think the better question is "should" we rebuild our own. Building a city in a bowl below sea level on the coast in an area prone to hurricane activity... hmmm...not the brightest idea I could think of. How many times will we have to watch (and pay for) this area inundated by water before we learn?
