It is rather difficult at times to allow 3 ft space when the bike operators are riding on the side of a 2-lane road with no bike lane and, most times, they are riding side-by-side, and traffic is moving along at 60 MPH in both directions. Sometimes you just can not move to the oncoming lane. It is not only drivers of vehicles that have to be considerate and respectful...
