If I had State Farm as my neighbor. I'd move! I dealt with them and Farmers after the May 3rd tornadoes in Oklahoma. The way they conduct themselves is more like organized crime than as legitimate insurance companies. It's simple the insured pays a premium to transfer the risk. The risk is transfered. A loss occurs. Pay the claim. It is just the most deplorable behavior to claim that the carriers are just showing good claim practices when they attempt to legally cheat the insured's out of the money they are owed. I dealt with both carrier's experts. Both would make grand statements not supported by their trade or the meteorological data available.
