The article did not address the homeowners that will not be renewed in 2007, by Allstate, or any other large insurance company. I am scrambling to find "affordable" coverage, as of March 24th, I will be dropped. The reason is that the insurance companys have made unreasonable qualifications, example, you have to live 10 miles from the ocean. 10 miles covers a lot of territory!!!!I can understand not taking on anymore high risk homeowners, I can not understand Canceling them after 17 years. I can not understand our Florida legislatures allowing it!!!!!!!
