Regarding Mobil home insurance !
I live in a double wide Mobil home which when built was to withstand 140 mile per hour winds.My home since has been hurricane proofed by .#1 Had a solid roof installed several years ago .#2 Had another tie down installed which was paid for by the goverment .#3 Have hurricane shutters for all my windows and doors .My home I feel is hurricane proofed .My home has withstood hurricanes since 1981 .During katrina the only damage was acaopy that was across my screen room for the sun .The houses on either side of me were severly damage .One had to be replaced .Still my insurance Co. has sent me a notice they are not going to renew my policy in April when it is due .My question .How can the insurance companies cancel an existing policy just before hurricane season starts .I would appreciate your comments on this .Thank You . John F. Raucci.
