I've got a lot of animosity towards SOME pas who just take advantage of the situation and push everything to arbitration for no good reason. On the other hand, I've worked with PA's who are a huge help in getting the loss closed. When I worked in Chicago, it was easier on many cases to have a PA involved, because all you had to do was approve or disaprove his requests and estimate. Yes, you always pay more, but not exhorbitantly more. And in dealing with some of the big guys, I'd recommend a PA...
