I was supposed to be in the 639 with Scruggs, but was Shut Out. Lost the same home for the 3rd time. I was notified
after the verdict from Judge Senter. They said they did not receive my contract in time but they would be happy to rep me in the class settlement.
I did not sign a class settlement contract so I requested a release and return the contract. Still, they have not responded.

What is the difference between a dead dog in the street and a dead Lawyer in the street?
They have skid marks in front of the dog.

After this, I called State Farm Corporate Division, to try to Settle Direct.
I even suggested that they open satellite locations where the Policy holder could go direct to the location, Agree, Sign a Release & Leave with a check in their hand. This would resolve this matter and close the book. It would leave the policyholder with a better "taste in their mouth" we could all make up and become good neighbors.
If their money went back into the Hands of their Insured, without 1/3 in legal fees, The Insured would be able to build better homes & larger homes which would result in higher premiums that would benefit State Farm.

So State Farm made a mistake. Big Deal.
We can forgive them if they settle and we can all turn the page and move on with our lives.
State Farm said they were unable to do that at this time because they are awaiting Judge Senters Decision because he has requested more Discovery.

Since then, S/F is trying to have Judge Senter recuse from the case.
It seems S/F is still arrogant and they are still trying to wiggle out again.

Know what really upsets me?
Everyone else has made money from Katrina, except the actual victims of Katrina.
Lawyers, Electricians, Plumbers, Carpenters, Contractors, Building Suppliers,landscapers, everyone except
the ones who need it.

We are still left outside looking in and still paying insurance premiums and house notes too.

Almost as bad a leaving Anna Nicole's dead body in a morgue for 3 weeks.
