What is all that ranting about? Private companies are in business to serve the public and make a profit. Insurance companies do both in other states. We only serve the public in Florida. If we can't make a profit, we take our money and go home. Insurance is not a charity, it's a business. You haven't provided any facts to back up any statement you made. So what that one individual made a lot of money being in charge of a huge company. What does any of that have to do with a line of insurance in Florida losing money almost every year. One of the earlier posters gave you some actual numbers for the industry in Florida which you ignored. We aren't making money off of anyone's misery. We are helping the vast majority of people we serve. A few bad situations occur. These get resolved through the legal system just the way they are for any other business. If one of us does something wrong, step on them. What are you doing to improve that situation. Apparently trying to chase an industry out of your state so that government agency can provide typical government service based on higher taxes and red tape. There has never been an efficient government agency. Why do any insurance industry posters bother responding to your rants? Because we are proud of what we do. You really do need anger management. And you really don't have any real knowledge of how insurance product work.
