Check PA or Ohio for that matter. Anyone who sells minimums (especially in states with less than 25/50/25 better make sure their E&O is up to date... if you're going to have underinsured customers, at least make sure you're insured. Trust me, you'll need it.

Will your customers win? Probably not. Will you pay a few thousand dollars to defend yourself? Count on it.

Ignore BI... $5k of PD? I drive a 6 year old car, it's worth more than $5k. Trust me, I can also find an attorney who can make-up more than 15k of bodily injury and make it believable enough that even if you follow me with a camera for a month you won't find anything.

Makes me wonder how companies like Safe Auto stay in business (not to disaparage SA... they do well doing what they do).

I've sold minimums plenty of times... every time I cringe and wish I could have a tape recorder to document my "you know, this isn't good, for $25 more you could double that liability".

How many times do I have to explain to a 20 year old they're going to have an accident, it's very easy to exceed state mins, and I don't want to hear it when they do.

"Oh that's fine... $25 is two cases of beer, just sell me the minimums."

MORONS!
