RAL: This woman wasn't "ill". Yes, she may have suffered a heart attack, but I"ll bet the stress from Katrina was just the "straw that broke the camel's back." Otherwise healthy 37 year old women don't just have a heart attack. Family history, obesity, lack of exercise, poor diet, and genetics all play a part. Notwithstanding, these people have a responsibility to take some action, not sit around for two years waiting for the Golden Goose to drop a free egg in their laps. It's unfortunate, but they're adults who need to take responsibility for their decisions. They didn't seem too concerned over parenting four children. They didn't seem too concerned about basic mobile home insurance. And, they don't seem too concerned about getting on with their lives until somebody else makes it easy. No sympathy here.
