They are taking over idiot. As the state puts more and more obstacles in the way of doing business the private insurers will back off doing business in Florida. When the hurricanes hit the state the companies will be proven right. Let's see how you like it when your $1,500 premium is surcharged over and over for huge chunks to pay for the losses that haven't been properly anticipated. The numbers just don't add up for your proposal. It's not if a big loss will occur, it's when.
